Of course the large, central lake of Diamond’s Peak is one we all know and love, but the area has many more smaller and sometimes well hidden lakes to offer. One of my personal favorites is not too far north of the main lake. From the north side of the main lake, follow the road towards the Silver Strand Meadows outpost. You will soon come to a point where the road is closest to the river on your left. Once the road and the river start diverging you will want to head off the road, straight north and up the hill side, cutting through the forest. It should take no more than a few minutes to reach the lake, with some stunning sights over the valley. During summer times this lake is perfect for a swim, so don’t forget to bring a towel!
