A regal walking stick holds its head high, planted face down, abandoned on the ground. Helping it to it’s feet reveals it to be rather unwieldy in your grasp, clearly made for a much larger person, if it was made to fit at all. The motif of a caribou/reindeer can be seen at the collar, its antlers sprouting either side of the handle. A bear’s face roars from the bottom of the shaft, a lifetime apart from your fingertips but merely a moment away from the heel. You walk with it a while, but it never feels right, so you put it away. It was well worth a try.
