This carving was whittled in-between higher priorities, finished when it would be, but lost before it was. Maybe the carver hoped you’d find it eventually, hoped you’d enjoy it however you did, but a higher will forced it into your hands. Maybe it was never meant to be finished, so this is as much as it will ever be.
