The Montano is marketed as the last baitcasting reel you’ll ever need, and while it isn’t anything incredible in the power department, its signature speed and capacity are certainly enough to give that claim some consideration. This is based on a vintage reel design that was the hallmark of the 20th century auction scene, except reforged with brand new technology and keen artistry to result in a great angling experience.
