Sanmanma is a food that was created in order to accentuate the delicious taste of the Pacific Saury, a signature catch of Kushiro City. This dish is made using an entire Pacific Saury with all of its bones removed, then marinated in soy sauce, wrapped in rice and barbecued over charcoal.
