COTW the Angler Patch 1.7.5 is now live, bringing exciting new features to the game. Anglers can now explore the South Africa Reserve to catch three new legendary fish. Additionally, the update introduces the Golden Hook Collection, allowing players to embrace a luxurious lifestyle with new items. A new auto jigging and twitching toggle has also been added to enhance the fishing experience.

South Africa Legendary Fish & Souvenirs
Finally, Izilo Zasendulo, the South Africa Reserve has Legendary Fish introduced with Patch 1.7.5. These are some real monsters, so bring your best gear and get ready for a challenging fight. The new Legendary Fish are:
Grootslang
The legendary African Mottled Eel
Karoo Mermaid
The legendary Africal Sharptooth Catfish
Mamlambo
The legendary African Tigerfish
On top of the Legendary Fish, there are new Souvenirs in the South Africa Souvenir Shop. Souvenirs can be purchased by earning reputation and catching fish in the reserve to earn Gold, Diamond and Legendary tokens. These souvenirs include:
- Dinosaur Mask (in 3 different styles)
- Dinosaur Shoes (in 3 variants)
- T-Shirt (with 5 variants)
- Sunglasses (coming in 4 variants)
- NPC Shirt
- NPC Hard Hat
- Fishing Hub Shirts (3 styles)

Golden Hook Collection
Display your appreciation for luxury with the prestigious four-piece Golden Hook Collection. With items priced up to a million Credits each, these are not just the most exclusive pieces in the game – they are the ultimate status symbol for millionaires! The items in the collection can be purchased with Credits (earned from catching any fish). The cost for these will be a milion each, so be prepared to grind for those credits.
The Golden Hook Collection introduced in COTW The Angler Patch 1.7.5 include:

Auto Jigging & Twitching toggle
A new feature was now added to the game, which can be enabled in the Accessibility options. This, as the name implies, will do Auto Jigging and Auto Twitching after you cast your rod.
