What are Legendary Fish in COTW The Angler?
Each Reserve in Call of the Wild: The Angler game has its own set of unique Legendary Fish are a unique variation of existing fish species. Each week one randomly selected Legendary from each set is active per map (so only one of three Legendary can be caught every week), and during this time each active Legendary can only be caught once.
Legendary Fish rotations happen every Wednesday at 10p.m. EST / Thursday 3a.m. BST.
How do you know which Legendary is active?
You cannot know which Legendary Fish is active until one has been caught in the new rotation. The rotation is random, so you never know what you’ll catch. The community is quite active, so you’ll find out soon enough which Legendary is active in the current rotation.
Alternatively, if you’re playing in Multiplayer, you will see in the event notifications which Legendary was caught and by whom.
Where can you find Legendary Fish?
Legendary Fish can be caught in multiple locations, but you won’t know in which location it is until one is caught that week. Finding the Legendary Fish on all maps is truly a community effort, especially if it appears in a new location that week.
