Description

The Common Bream is a freshwater gamefish of the Carp family, inhabiting lakes, ponds and rivers all over Europe.

Common Breams have flat, high-backed bodies that are silvery gray or bronze in color. Common Bream grow to be 12-22 in (30-55 cm) and weigh around 2-6 lb (1-3 kg).

Bream primarily feed on larvae, worms, insects and plankton.

Tips for catching Bream

Preferred Bait

The Bream preferes Bloodworm as bait. If you use Bloodworm you have the best chance of cathing a Bream.

Time of Day

The best time for catching a Bream is during Nighttime.
