Description
The Rednose Labeo is a bottom-dwelling African Carp. They can be found in shallow areas, but mainly inhabit deep waters.
They tend to reach about 27cm long at maturity, however have been known to reach over 49cm in length and 3.6kg in weight.
Rednose Labeo feed in schools across muddy and rocky bottoms, consuming algae, worms, small crustaceans, and molluscs.
