Description
The Common Rudd is a freshwater fish spread around Europe and middle Asia.
The Rudd is very similar to the Roach, except with yellow eyes with a big red spot above the pupil. The Rudd grows up to a size of 18-20in (45-50cm) with an average of about 10in (25cm).
Rudd were reported in the United States at least as early as 1925. It is unlawful to possess live Rudd in the state of Tennessee. No person,or corporation can possess, sell, offer for sale, import, bring or release Rudd into the State of Alabama.
