The Elk, also known as Wapiti, is one of the largest terrestrial mammals across North America, Central Asia, and East Asia. Elk can grow to be between 5 ft-9 ft (1-3 m) in length and weigh between 377-1096 lb (171-497 kg). Elk are some of the most social deer species, with herds that can grow up to 400 Elks during the mating season.
