The American Bison, also known as the Buffalo, is a large bovine found in the river valleys and open prairies and plains of North America. Bison can grow to be up to 11 ft (3 m) in length and weigh between 880-2800 lb (400-1270 kg). While usually peaceful, Bison are known to attack anything for any reason, doing so by charging it with a top speed of up to 35 mph (56 km/h).
