The Red Fox is the largest of the true foxes, and one of the carnivores with the largest native habitats, spanning almost the entire northern hemisphere. These foxes can grow to be 18-35 in (45-90 cm) long, with the tail typically comprising up to 70% of their body length, as well as 5-31 lb (2-14 kg) in weight. The Red Fox is especially agile, being able to jump over 79 in (2 m) vertically and reaching top speeds of up to 30 mph (50 km/h).
