About
The White Tailed Deer is native to many regions of North and South America, though it has also seen introduction to New Zealand, the Caribbean, and Europe. The Whitetail can grow to be between 37-87 in (95-220 cm) in length and weigh between 100-150 lb (45-68 kg). Males regrow their antlers, and 1 in 10,000 females also grow antlers, although this is often associated with infertility. The shape, size, and branching of the antlers vary wildly, the cause of which is a combination of genetics, nutrition, and age.
