Description
Ide is a freshwater fish of the Carp family that prefers the clear waters of large rivers and lakes. Ide is a popular ornamental fish and can be recognized by plump bodies and dark backs. They grow to a weight of 1-3lb (0.5-2kg). These omnivorous fish eat aquatic plants, insects, worms and larvae.
